How do I get rid of fleas natural flea control

There are different sorts o fleas and these fleas need dealing with in different ways, some you can treat yourself and others need a doctors intervention.

Sand fleas as the name suggests tend to live in sand, so if you go to the beach you should take some precautions to avoid sand flea bites as they can result in some nasty problems.  Try not to have any bare or unprotected skin come into contact with the sand, if the flea can not get to your skin it can not bite you, if you do get a sand flea bite you may need to consult your doctor as sometimes the flea will burrow under your skin and need a doctor to remove it.

How do I get rid of fleas, well I have always advocated a multi pronged approach, use anti flea medication such as frontline on your pets, then use flea traps, flea bombs and flea foggers to kill off the infestation and then use herbs and ceder wood chips to prevent fleas reentering your home. This is a time proved method of clearing the home of fleas when followed properly.

If you do not want to use harsh toxic and flammable chemicals in your home you can use natural flea control measures such as Ceder wood chips outside at possible flea entry points to your home, you can also use the non chemical flea traps that attract fleas and trap them on sticky pads, a little like fly paper.

Using the correct way of dealing with a flea problem depends on how you want to treat your environment, do you feel comfortable using harsh toxic and flammable chemicals or do you want to use natural remedies that may not be as fast.
